Is Peep just for couples?
For anyone who feels like your person. Your partner, your best friend, your long-distance buddy. Peep pairs two people at a time.
Will it work on my Mac?
This beta supports Apple silicon Macs (M1 or newer) running macOS 14 Sonoma or later. No physical notch? Peep uses a small handle at the top of your screen. There isn’t an Intel, Windows, or mobile version yet.
What should I know about the beta?
Peep is free to try while we make it even sweeter. You’ll both need Peep running and an internet connection for live nudges. The install guide is there if you need a hand getting settled.
Does Peep watch what I’m doing?
No screen recording or app-activity tracking. You choose your own mood; automatic Apple Focus sync isn’t available yet. The pairing service stores your profile, pairing, and recent nudges. Connections use HTTPS, but nudges aren’t end-to-end encrypted. Undelivered nudges expire after 24 hours.
Can I change who I’m paired with?
Yes. Open the gear in your notch, or right-click the menu-bar flower and choose Settings. Disconnect from your current person, then share a new invite code or enter someone else’s. Invite codes last ten minutes and can only be used once.
